PPF Price in Dubai: The Four Variables That Set Your Quote
PPF price in Dubai is driven by four compounding variables: the coverage zone you choose, the size of your vehicle, the film brand you select, and whether your paint requires correction before installation. Understanding each one lets you decode any quote rather than comparing numbers that cover different scopes.
Coverage zone is the biggest lever. A partial front package covering the bonnet, front bumper, wing mirrors, and headlights costs a fraction of a full body installation. Vehicle size multiplies that cost in proportion to panel area. Film brand adds a 20 to 40% premium from the lowest to the highest tier in our range. Paint correction before installation adds AED 500 to AED 1,500 depending on the condition of the paintwork. When two quotes look identical, at least one of these four variables is different.
For the full breakdown of what each coverage zone includes, see our PPF cost guide and the partial PPF service page.
PPF Pricing by Vehicle Type: 2026 AED Reference Ranges
PPF pricing in Dubai breaks down clearly by vehicle category. These are the ranges we quote for the three most common coverage options:
Compact sedans and hatchbacks (Nissan Altima, Toyota Corolla, Honda Civic): partial front AED 3,500 to AED 4,500; full front AED 5,500 to AED 7,000; full body AED 8,000 to AED 11,000.
Mid-size sedans and crossovers (BMW 3 Series, Mercedes C-Class, Volvo XC60): partial front AED 4,000 to AED 5,000; full front AED 6,000 to AED 8,000; full body AED 10,000 to AED 14,000.
Full-size SUVs and luxury sedans (Range Rover, Mercedes GLE, BMW 7 Series): partial front AED 4,500 to AED 6,000; full front AED 7,500 to AED 9,500; full body AED 13,000 to AED 18,000.
Performance and exotic vehicles (Porsche 911, Ferrari, Lamborghini): full body installation ranges from AED 16,000 to AED 25,000 or above depending on body complexity, number of curves, and panel count. These vehicles require significantly more installation time and custom-cut patterns.
For motorcycle coverage, see our dedicated motorcycle PPF cost guide. For large SUVs with full body coverage in colour-change film, expect the premium end of the range and allow an additional 15 to 25% for matte or satin finishes.
Matte PPF Price vs Clear PPF: How Much Is the Premium?
Matte PPF price runs 15 to 25% higher than equivalent clear film coverage on the same vehicle. The premium exists for two reasons: colour-change films use higher-cost raw material formulations, and the installation is less forgiving because any fingerprint or adhesive trace is more visible on a matte surface during application.
For a mid-size sedan receiving full body coverage in matte PPF, expect to add AED 1,500 to AED 2,500 to the clear film price. For a full-size SUV, the matte premium runs AED 2,000 to AED 4,000 over the same coverage in clear film.
Satin PPF carries a similar premium to matte. Both finishes are priced this way because the film itself costs more per roll, the application window for defect-free installation is narrower, and the warranty conditions are more specific about cleaning products and heat exposure.
For vehicles where the goal is paint protection without any visual change, clear PPF remains the most cost-effective option. For vehicles where a finish transformation is the goal alongside protection, the matte premium is a single charge versus the ongoing cost of a removable wrap without impact protection.
PPF Pricing by Film Brand: Suntop, XPEL, and 3M Compared
Film brand is the second biggest PPF pricing variable after coverage zone. All three brands we install at our Al Quoz studio offer manufacturer warranties and full UAE distribution, but they sit at different price points:
XPEL Ultimate Plus is our flagship installation. It carries the strongest self-healing performance in the range and a 10-year manufacturer warranty. Full body on a mid-size sedan: AED 12,000 to AED 14,000. The premium over Suntop is real but the warranty terms and optical clarity are the best in category.
Suntop is our mid-tier recommendation for daily drivers, company vehicles, and lease returns where total cost matters more than maximum warranty duration. Full body on a mid-size sedan: AED 9,000 to AED 11,000. Seven-year manufacturer warranty, comparable clarity to XPEL in controlled conditions.
3M Scotchgard Pro provides reliable stone chip protection at the most accessible price in our range. Full body on a mid-size sedan: AED 8,000 to AED 10,000. Seven-year warranty. The right choice when coverage matters more than maximum film specification.

Is the PPF Price Worth It in Dubai Conditions?
Dubai makes PPF more valuable than nearly any other market. The UV index exceeds 8 for most of the year, which degrades unprotected paint significantly faster than temperate climates. Sand from desert roads creates a constant abrasion risk on front panels and rockers. Construction debris on major arterials is a daily source of stone chips on Sheikh Zayed Road and the Abu Dhabi highway.
The replacement cost math is clear. A single front bumper respray at a reputable Dubai bodyshop runs AED 1,200 to AED 2,500. A bonnet with multiple stone chips costs AED 1,500 to AED 3,500 to repair to factory standard. A lease return with four stone chips and a scuffed bumper can generate AED 3,000 to AED 6,000 in dealer-rate repair charges. A partial front PPF installation at AED 3,500 prevents every one of those outcomes.
For luxury vehicles, the resale premium on verified pristine factory paint is directly recoverable at sale time. PPF is the only protection that preserves the original paint surface rather than adding a coating over it.
