Paint Protection Film Price Dubai 2026: Quick Reference Table
Dubai PPF prices vary by coverage area, vehicle size, and film brand. This table reflects current market pricing at certified Suntop, XPEL, and 3M studios in Al Quoz.
**Partial front (bonnet + bumper + fenders + headlights)** - Hatchback / small sedan (e.g. Yaris, Polo): AED 2,500 to AED 3,500 - Mid-size sedan / SUV (e.g. Camry, RAV4, X5): AED 3,500 to AED 5,000 - Large SUV / luxury (e.g. Land Cruiser, Range Rover): AED 4,500 to AED 6,500 - Exotic / supercar (e.g. Lamborghini, Ferrari): AED 5,500 to AED 9,000
**Full body PPF (all exterior panels)** - Hatchback / small sedan: AED 7,500 to AED 10,000 - Mid-size sedan / standard SUV: AED 9,000 to AED 14,000 - Large SUV / luxury: AED 11,000 to AED 18,000 - Exotic / supercar: AED 15,000 to AED 30,000+
Prices above reflect Suntop film (the best-value option at our studio). XPEL Ultimate Plus commands a 10–15% premium. Budget film from uncertified suppliers is available at lower price points but without manufacturer warranty or certified installation — not a comparison we consider relevant.

What Determines Paint Protection Film Price in Dubai?
Understanding the six variables that drive PPF pricing helps you evaluate any quote accurately — and identify when a low price is a warning sign rather than good value.
**1. Coverage area.** This is the single largest driver of price. Moving from partial front to full body coverage typically triples the cost. Each additional panel adds both film cost and installation time. The front end (bonnet, bumper, wings, headlights) absorbs roughly 80% of highway stone chip exposure, which is why partial front is the most popular entry point.
**2. Vehicle size.** A full-size Land Cruiser has approximately 40% more paintable surface than a mid-size Camry. Larger panels also require more skill to apply wrinkle-free. Large SUVs and prestige vans cost more to wrap than standard sedans at every tier.
**3. Vehicle complexity.** Aggressive body styling, deep air scoops, wide fender flares, and tight compound curves require more film, more time, and more advanced technique. Porsches, Lamborghinis, and McLarens are charged at exotic rates regardless of vehicle size because of the difficulty of the body lines. Standard family SUVs are the most cost-efficient to protect.
**4. Film brand.** Suntop, XPEL, and 3M each sit at slightly different price points for equivalent coverage. XPEL Ultimate Plus carries the highest price; it is the widest film in this tier (up to 1.83m wide) and has the strongest brand recognition in the Dubai market. Suntop delivers equivalent protection and warranty at lower cost, making it the best-value choice for most clients. 3M Scotchgard Pro sits between the two.
**5. Paint condition.** Factory-new vehicles require only a decontamination wash before film is applied. Pre-owned vehicles with swirl marks, scratches, or stone chips need paint correction first. Single-stage machine polish adds AED 500–AED 1,500 to the total. Multi-stage correction on heavily damaged paint adds AED 2,000–AED 4,000. At our studio, single-stage correction is included in all full-body PPF packages.
**6. Installer certification and facility.** A certified studio with a climate-controlled bay and plotter-cut templates has higher overheads than an uncertified shop. This cost difference is real, but so is the quality difference. An uncertified shop's lower quote does not include the manufacturer warranty, uses hand-cut templates (with associated paint risk), and lacks the installation environment to produce a consistently contamination-free result.

How Does Dubai PPF Pricing Compare to Other Markets?
UAE PPF prices are broadly competitive with comparable markets. Here is how Dubai 2026 pricing stacks up against other reference markets.
**United Kingdom:** Full body PPF on a mid-size SUV at a certified UK studio (XPEL, SunTek, Llumar) runs GBP 2,500–GBP 5,000, equivalent to approximately AED 12,000–AED 24,000 at current exchange rates. UK prices are higher due to labour costs and VAT. Dubai pricing is materially cheaper for comparable certification levels.
**United States:** Full body XPEL Ultimate Plus on a mid-size SUV at a certified US studio runs USD 2,500–USD 5,000 (AED 9,200–AED 18,400). Dubai pricing is competitive with US pricing and often lower for equivalent XPEL work.
**Saudi Arabia (Riyadh/Jeddah):** SAR pricing for certified PPF is broadly comparable to AED, reflecting similar cost structures, labour, and climate-driven demand. UAE studios generally have higher certification density.
**Why the UAE mid-market is particularly competitive:** Dubai's Al Quoz cluster creates strong competition among certified studios, keeping prices lower than you would expect for the certification level involved. A buyer comparison-shopping across five Al Quoz PPF studios will find meaningful price variation (often AED 2,000–AED 4,000 on full body) for ostensibly equivalent products. The differentiators are installer experience, template library depth, and facility quality rather than film brand alone.
Is Paint Protection Film Worth the Price in Dubai?
The financial case for PPF in Dubai is stronger than in most markets, for three specific reasons.
**Stone chip frequency on UAE highways.** Emirates Road, Al Ain Road, and the E311 carry a high density of aggregate trucks at 120 km/h. Chip frequency on unprotected paint on regular highway commuters is measurably higher than in urban-primary driving markets like Europe. Front-end stone chip accumulation on an unprotected car driven daily from Sharjah to Dubai via E311 is visible within 12–18 months.
**UV-driven paint degradation.** Dubai's UV index reaches 11 in summer and sustains at 8–9 for most of the year. Unprotected clear coat oxidises and dulls noticeably within 2–3 years of regular outdoor exposure. Premium PPF blocks 99% of UV at the film surface. The paint under well-maintained PPF after 7 years looks like the day the film was applied.
**Resale value in a paint-depth-checked market.** Dubai's used car dealers and serious private buyers routinely use paint depth gauges. Original factory paint on every panel — with no fillers, no resprays — commands a premium. Protected paint at resale can recover a significant portion of the PPF investment. A well-preserved AED 200,000 vehicle may sell for AED 15,000–AED 25,000 more than an equivalent vehicle with chips and UV fade on front panels.

Getting an Accurate Paint Protection Film Price Quote in Dubai
Online price guides (including this one) provide market ranges. An accurate quote for your specific vehicle requires an in-person or detailed phone/WhatsApp consultation. Here is what determines the precision of a quote.
**Vehicle inspection.** Paint thickness readings, paint condition assessment, and a look at any pre-existing damage inform both the coverage recommendation and the price. A studio quoting without seeing the vehicle is giving you a range, not a number.
**Coverage discussion.** Partial or full? Including door edges, rock guards, and roof? These decisions shift the quote by AED 1,500–AED 5,000 and should be made based on how you use the vehicle.
**Brand selection.** If you have a preference between Suntop, XPEL, and 3M, state it upfront. The price difference is real and the studio should quote each option if you want to compare.
**Paint correction scope.** If your paint needs correction, this adds to the quote. Knowing the correction scope before arriving saves time.
At our Al Quoz studio, free in-person consultations take 20–30 minutes. We inspect the vehicle under LED lighting, assess paint condition, walk through coverage options, and give a written quote with a clear breakdown. No obligation to book.
